I worked on the development of a large-scale ceiling installation composed of 4,000 LED drop elements in varying lengths, designed to form a continuous wave across the apartment lobby ceiling. The project required studying multiple compositional strategies, including symmetrical, patterned, and asymmetrical wave formations, to achieve the right balance of coverage, movement, and visual impact.

We finalized an asymmetrical wave, to create a more dynamic and expressive ceiling condition. The installation was engineered as a series of interconnecting ceiling panels, which simplified fabrication, shipping, and on-site installation while maintaining the integrity of the overall form.
