At JPS Designs, retail interiors became an exercise in translating a visual concept into a fully realized space. Vivian contributed to the design and led the engineering, working through the relationship between material, proportion, and construction to ensure each detail could be carried through to fabrication.

From selecting finishes to developing construction details and technical drawings, she worked across both the expressive and practical sides of the process. Material choices were considered not only for their appearance, but for how they could be fabricated efficiently and within budget, without losing the character of the original design.

Working directly with overseas manufacturing partners, Vivian guided each project through production, resolving technical challenges as they arose. Her work brought the creative vision and the realities of manufacturing into conversation, carrying each interior from concept to completion.
