Sculptural ceramic tile meets clean, considered wood construction, creating a distinctive balance between the organic irregularity of white clay and the crisp geometry of its surrounding framework.

Vivian led product development, partnering with the design team to bring this material interplay into a cohesive, production-ready collection. She worked through construction details and tolerances to accommodate the natural variation of each tile while maintaining precise alignment with the wood framework.

In collaboration with ceramic artisans, Vivian developed custom glazes that yielded two monochromatic finishes with carefully controlled tonal variation. Rather than masking the individuality of the clay, the finishes celebrate it, allowing subtle shifts in color and surface to give each piece its own depth and character.
