I managed the development of a custom blackened steel patina, providing recipe suggestions based on chemical reactions and refining hand-applied finishes to achieve a balanced depth of blue and gray tones. We explored variations in sheen using clearcoats, hand-applied wax coats, and combinations to reach the natural lush look the design intended for, all while managing strict timing constraints for the hand-applied process.

The direct cast glass top was another key artisan element. I coordinated production timelines around graphite mold limitations, ensuring deadlines were met.
